Last December Vicky got me one of the best presents I have ever received – a four-day National Geographic Photo Workshop in San Francisco. It is an advanced workshop – 
members are supposed to already know how to operate their cameras – focusing on how to tell a photo story the National Geographic way. Just my cup of tea.
So I have been awaiting the day that the workshop begins with only a modicum of patience. Well, that day is here and we are in San Francisco to get in a little vacation time together before the workshop begins.
Herein will appear some of my thoughts, musings, observations and opinions of things and events associated with our trip.
